Lyft House

Located on Uber Street, in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, the need for parking in this rapidly developing neighborhood was the driving force behind the building’s form. Lifting the structure to create a carport, rather than an enclosed garage, keeps the streetscape open, and the building light. A series of balconies and light wells along the side of the building create private outdoor spaces at every floor.
