Our studio is always experimenting with ways to blend new construction with more traditional styles and techniques. Using brick and other masonry products helps to tie a building in with its neighbors and provide longevity in an urban environment. This conceptual rendering uses cast stone to highlight the commercial spaces at the ground floor and traditional brickwork on the upper floors, helping it to blend seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. A mansard roof helps to lower the visual massing of the building while adding the traditional language of dormer windows.

We've reimagined this family's home with spaces for entertaining, a ground floor primary suite, and a cutting-edge immersive theater room. Direct connections to the outdoor kitchen and pool area make the space flow seamlessly for year round enjoyment. Sleek, modern, and filled with light - 17 W. Girard's curved windows and playful interiors put a fresh twist on city living. Working with an extremely narrow site forced us to get creative and go vertical. Each floor of the building has double height ceilings to allow for mezzanines in each unit. This creates very unique living spaces that are washed in natural light and views out to the city.

Designed and developed by our team at Gnome, 315 Delmar is our take on innovative city living. We utilized smart building materials and systems throughout the project, resulting in a cost-effective, sustainable, design forward home to add to the urban landscape of Manayunk.

It's all in the details. Extrava was designed with sleek modern comfort in mind and it shows in every detail of its living spaces. Custom fluted wooden walls and ceilings integrate natural textures and clean lines to frame a stone wine wall and seamlessly blend doors to the powder room and butlers pantry. The floor-to-ceiling fireplace gives the living room a spacious yet cozy feel while the winding staircase, wrapped around a private elevator, stands as a stunning focal point throughout the home.
