The interior of Delancey St. was designed to have a modern feel while integrating natural wood elements and seamless outdoor access, creating a warm and balanced interior. The main floor features an open layout that combines the kitchen, living, and dining areas, perfect for family life. Upstairs, the primary suite offers a relaxing retreat with plenty of natural light, and the top-floor office provides stunning city views. A perfect balance between form and function.
Delancey street is officially complete and we are so happy to have transformed this lot (previously destroyed by a fire) into a one-of-a-kind home for this family. The modern exterior design is complemented by massive windows and greenery, flooding the home with natural light and connecting it to nature. With outdoor spaces on all four levels, this design seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living. The main deck extends from the the indoor living area and overlooks the quiet city street, allowing the family to utilize this space in their everyday life.
We often talk about our commitment to designing timeless spaces that blend seamlessly with the rich history of the landscape - The Colorworks Building is a perfect example. When building a large new structure in an urban setting it’s important to be mindful of the surrounding buildings. In this design we intentionally aligned the height and style of the brick with that of the existing homes on the block. This creates a seamless transition and preserves the historic style of the neighborhood.
Weaver, designed by Colin Rupp, is the second winning design from Gnome selected in Glen-Gery’s Inaugural Architect Shapes Collaboration Contest. Brick is beautiful; but it is a heavy static material, often assembled in a rigid layout. Weaver has the ability to create a variety of weaving textures depending on the arrangement, bond pattern, and orientation. The mirrored detailing across the face of the brick utilizes an alternating bevel, all within a standard size brick. Thank you again to @glengery for creating an opportunity for architects to innovate in the industry. Excited to see some amazing new creations!

Swipe for the before -> Attention to detail is the key to any successful project. When seemingly small details are missed they can go undiscovered for months or even vears) and lead to much larger problems like water infiltration and rot. Fortunately we have trusted relationships with skilled installers like Xleum Construction who are experts at correcting issues like this. They make sure our buildings are safe and dry for years to come with proper window installation, moisture barriers, flashing details, and siding connections.
Facet, designed by Justin Bright, is one of two winning designs from Gnome selected in Glen-Gery's Inaugural Architect Shapes Collaboration Contest. Challenged to push the boundaries of traditional design, Justin created a brick that balances both function and aesthetic application. Facet can be used to create a multitude of unique designs and textures using just one brick style. Thank you to Glen-Gery for giving architects a platform to innovate and continue to push the design limits. We look forward to seeing what people create with these amazing new shapes!
