A series of shallow vacant lots along a small side street in South Philadelphia presented a unique opportunity to, quite literally, turn the vernacular orientation of a rowhome, on its side. Through a series of folds in the building’s form, each space in the home is able to capture natural light throughout the day and have views towards the city ‘s skyline.
