The site for these 9 townhomes is surrounded by the rich history of Fishtown, and embodies this historical nature through a language of materiality and detailing. Adjacent to the Harbison Dairy renovation project, special care was taken when designing the homes to create a unified vision for the street. Diverting parking to the rear of the homes opens up the front for pedestrian access, and wide entries to each home promote gathering, conversation, and a place to pause along the narrow sidewalk. Red brick, divided lite windows, and cast stone detailing complete each facade, which serve as a contemporary nod to the historic factory building just feet away.
