Delancey Residence
When approached by the owners of an old house that had been damaged by fire, their vision was to reimagine the home as a contemporary space for their family to grow and entertain. Utilizing the existing brutalist concrete walls of the ground floor, the old structure serves as a plinth for the new home to rise. The end result is a series of interconnected volumes that provide spaces for play, sleep, relaxation, and entertainment, all of which merge with outdoor spaces at each floor.
